About the Colorado Gambler
Established in August 1991, the Colorado Gambler is the flagship publication of gambling in Colorado – the only continuously published newspaper since gambling’s inception in Colorado.
The Colorado Gambler is a locally owned and operated family newspaper. A family that has published in Colorado for 47 years.
The Colorado Gambler features some of America’s well known gambling authors and includes news and information on all aspects of gambling in Colorado. Coverage ranges from blackjack to history, from casino profiles to the New York Times crossword puzzle. We provide casino maps, a casino guide, an entertainment schedule and busing information.
To guarantee your satisfaction, our professional production staff can assist you with a custom advertising package as well as provide in-house services such as ad creation.
Colorado Gambler credit policies are straight forward as the Old West! Bills are due and payable upon receipt. Payment in advance is required for all new advertisers unless a fully completed and signed credit application is received and approved.
I look forward to helping you market your business. For all you advertising and marketing questions, please contact Sharon Sweeney.

Great introduction in “about us”. I think this may be a big push for the Gambler and the Villager.
I’m a past patron of Dorothy Lehre’s shop in Nevadaville. Emails to Dorothy have gone unanswered for quite awhile. Can you tell me if she’s still around Nevadaville? I have a photograph we did of Dorothy in her shop, holding “Colorado Gambler” issue that printed her painting. If you would like to see it, ask to be cleared through my spam blocker when you send me the first email.
Thanks a bunch,
Sherry in New Mexico
Unfortunately I have no information on Dorothy, but if I hear or learn of anything I’ll definitely let you know!

I think this is the paper I used to pick up at Yanna’s Restaurrant, over a year ago. It had recipes in it as well as great history of Colorado etc. We also used to get it at the Isle.
I don’t go to the Isle anymore since my partner died, and it is not at the restaurant anymore, anyway, I miss it.
There was a recipe for — — Ham Loaf in one of the papers approx. 1 1/2 years ago, and I liked it, but have lost it. Could you help me out?
