Sharon has a warm smile ready to welcome you to Red Dolly.

Sharon is one of the welcoming staff members at Red Dolly Casino in Black Hawk. She started her job as a server in the restaurant more than 10 years ago and hasn’t left her position: she thoroughly enjoys her customers and working in the restaurant’s friendly setting. Sharon says the restaurant offers “good food and good prices” and her many loyal customers wholly agree with her.

This lady brings an extensive gaming background with her. A Colorado native, Sharon previously lived in Las Vegas for 25 years and was a blackjack dealer there for 15 years. When a close high school friend of hers offered her a job as a blackjack dealer in a local casino, she returned to Colorado. Besides being near her family once again, which is important to her, Sharon “loves the mountains” and enjoys four-wheeling with her family. Colorado is home for her.

Sharon said, “We have a good clientele at the restaurant,” and it stays steady throughout the seasons. Sharon says they do a lot of business by word of mouth, particularly during the tourist summer season. She‘ll often hear a remark similar to “my sister was here before and told me to come here” when a new customer arrives at the restaurant, relying on its fine reputation spread by word of mouth.

During the winter season the majority of her clientele will shift to the regular locals or vacationers, who always enjoy an excellent breakfast at Red Dolly. A popular breakfast choice is the delicious Steak and Eggs, featuring a char-grilled New York steak, two eggs, hash browns and toast for $5.99. Another great choice is the favorite breakfast burrito generously smothered with a spicy green chili for $4.99.

Other super-value appetizing breakfast entrees include: two eggs served any style with hash browns, toast, and bacon, sausage or ham for $2.99; French toast, pancakes, or biscuits and gravy for $1.99 each. Oatmeal, toast or English muffin, bacon or sausage, are $.99 each. Coffee or tea with unlimited refills is $1.75.

For dinner Sharon highly recommends ordering one of the hand cut, top choice steaks from Tom’s Signature Entrees, featuring Buckhead USDA Choice Aged Beef at market price. Simply put, she states, “It’s a good steak.” Red Dolly’s Famous Prime Rib (8 ounces) for $5.99, served daily with a baked potato, roll and vegetable, is a constant customer favorite and with good reason, as customers have told her it’s one of the best in town.

If you can’t finish the generously sized meals, the restaurant provides foil and a real doggie bag with a cute cartoon dog printed on the front, for wrapping up leftovers to take home with you.

Breakfast is served from 8-11 a.m. daily with the lunch and dinner menu available from 11 a.m. to closing, Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday at midnight. Red Dolly Casino can be contacted by telephone at 303-582-1100 or visit www.reddollycasino.net, for more information.
