The Riviera Black Hawk Casino proves it has the “Best Legs in Town!” and that is sheer fact.
It’s one of the most spectacular new promotions in the towns of Black Hawk and Central City and only the Riviera is offering it on the weekends during the month of September.
It’s an all-you-can-eat crab legs buffet for only $4.99 – that’s right, four dollars and ninety-nine cents – offered every Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 4 p.m. at the Riv’s Buffet restaurant upstairs.
Plus, each evening the first 500 guests at the crab legs buffet receive a free T-shirt with a colorful eye-catching crab graphic on the back. The T-shirt’s fun design is an original created by the casino’s in-house graphic artist. The T-shirts are already being collected as souvenirs by out-of-town guests!
This incredible promotion only requires a players’ card for The Riv. If you don’t already have one, stop by the Guest Services desk on the casino floor and simply sign up to become a Players’ Club Member to receive a card. Be sure to bring your driver’s license or other photo identification to get a card. You can’t lose with one of these special players’ cards.
In explaining the unbelievable price of the crab legs buffet, The Riviera Black Hawk’s Marketing Director Robert Abeyta said The Riv elected to offer more aggressive promotions including the region’s most generous point structure and the most point multiplier days. Also, The Riv is known for offering the highest quality gifts for play-up promotions and free gifts every month to VIP players.
After listening to Abeyta’s explanation, I had to try out the crab legs buffet for myself. I went in the evening at about 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday and waited in line for 40 minutes. It was well worth the wait as the crab legs were really delicious. The Buffet also offered tender prime rib, Chinese and Mexican dishes, salads and scrumptious desserts. I’ll be back in line again with friends this weekend for the crab legs—it’s pure value you cannot beat.
Abeyta said its parent casino, The Riviera in Las Vegas, was a model casino when it first opened in 1955 with games, shows and an acclaimed steakhouse available to its patrons.
Riviera Black Hawk is based on its parent casino, but with requisite changes as the casino industry itself evolves. For example, instead of a single steakhouse restaurant, Riviera Black Hawk offers more variety with two restaurants: the Buffet with an award-winning chef and the Creekside Deli that specializes in pizza for a quick-bite-to-eat.
The Riviera in Las Vegas was the gem of the city and played a role in several Hollywood movies – 1995’s powerful classic, Casino, starring Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone, and 2009’s successful comedy, The Hangover. Numerous large black-and-white portraits of celebrities who played at the original Riv line the walls near the Buffet.
The Riv offers more than 700 slot machines to play for your enjoyment, including progressives, and the ever-popular new “Sex and the City” machines. The Copper Mine area features all penny machines paying out five times the points—24/7. Table games include blackjack and roulette.
During September the Riviera offers another fabulous promotion when the Winning Wheel whirls on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On each of those days drawings are held and five lucky winners have a chance of spinning the Wheel to win up to $5,000. Club members earn one free entry per day and can earn more entries for every 300 points earned.
The Diamond Days promotion will add lots of sparkle to your life if you are 50 years of age—or better. NOW, every Monday and Tuesday in September come in to play your favorite games and earn four times the points on all slot machines and twice the number of points on video poker. When you’re ready to take a break, take either the elevator or escalator up to The Riviera Buffet and enjoy its varied and delicious fare for 50 percent off the regular price.
On Thursday, Sept. 16, stop by The Riviera’s Guest Services for details on how to pick up the Gift of the Month, your own free clock radio with an iPod docking station when you earn 500 points that day.
Live music from 8 p.m. to midnight is featured every Friday, Saturday and noon to five Sundays during September. The weekend of Sept. 17-19 brings Naked City to The Riv, followed next weekend, Sept. 24-26, by Vegas Road Show.
Be in the know on how to win big and check out the Riviera’s website at www.rivierablackhawk.com for all the special events and promotions being offered during the month of September.
Above all, Riviera Black Hawk continues to focus on offering and ensuring exceptional good value to its guests. With its accessible covered parking, good food, generous multiple point days, looser slots and fair chance of winning, The Riv is place to be.
Remember, “Win at The Riv.”
