Come visit the 1895 Midland Terminal Railroad Depot at the Cripple Creek District Museum and watch as historic characters of the past relive a traditional Victorian Christmas. The Depot will be decorated in the festive Christmas style of the 1890s as a number of spirits roam the rooms and hallways. Listen in as the characters chat about Christmas traditions and life in Cripple Creek a century ago.

Christmas Spirits in the Museum will take place during the city of Cripple Creek’s “Gold Camp Christmas” celebration on Saturday, Dec. 11, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Tours begin every 30 minutes and last approximately 15 minutes, with cookies and hot chocolate at the Museum Gift Shop throughout the evening.

This special event is coordinated by several Friends of the Museum volunteers. Admission is just $5; children age 7 and younger are free. All proceeds benefit the Cripple Creek District Museum. Reservations are accepted (but not necessary) by calling the Museum Gift Shop at 719-689-9540. The Gift Shop is open seven days a week, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
