DUBLIN – The Paddy Power Poker team literally stacked their way into the Guinness World Record Book in Dublin by making the world’s biggest poker chip stack.
The gigantic stack, which stands at a whopping 3 meters tall and 50cm wide, took five people more than 72-hours to complete and comprises of a massive 75,000 individual poker chips.
The record breaking construction took place ahead of this year’s paddypowerpoker.com Irish Winter Festival 2010, which took place at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, from Oct. 22-25. Whilst it has poker at its heart, the Irish Winter Festival is a true celebration of all things skilful and will be a weekend to remember.
Paddy Power said, “We had our fair share of wobbles along the way and one complete collapse but we held our nerve and it was definitely worth it for the honor of a Guinness World Record.”
