Canyon Casino, located at 131 Main St. in Black Hawk, offers free self and valet parking, delicious food and best of all, a warm and friendly atmosphere offering excellent service to its customers. Doors were held open by staff and every staff member greeted customers throughout the casino. That’s outstanding customer service that made me want to go back for more—who doesn’t like being treated like royalty.
Part of this wonderful staff is Mike, Canyon’s maintenance manager, who has worked in the gaming industry for 19 years. Mike is a Gilpin resident who truly enjoys working at Canyon. He knows his building and has taken good care of it since 1990. Mike’s been there most of his years in the gaming industry because of the “small company feeling” that encourages great working conditions for its employees.
Alex and Alex, Jr., Restaurant waiters
Upstairs the Canyon Grille offers comfortable dining in a good atmosphere separate from the gaming area. Alex and Alex, Jr., a father and son team, make sure all your dining needs are efficiently and graciously met. Alex commented that the food is excellent and made from scratch. Special dining requests are run-of-the-mill for him – if the ingredients are at hand, he will easily fulfill your request. That’s another example of superb customer service by Canyon’s staff.
Stop by Canyon especially on Fridays and Saturdays when from 8-11 p.m. the casino will give out $100 every 20 minutes to slot and table game players. Play at Canyon and join the winners—take home the cash That’s a deal you can’t beat.
