June 29 marked the one-year anniversary of the Lady Luck brand moving into Black Hawk, and with the new brand, a commitment to providing guests with great gaming action, great odds and good ol’ comfort food.
“In the past year, we have introduced a new brand of fun, entertainment and incomparable value. Our guests have noticed a difference in the way we do business,” said Craig LeVesque, vice president and general manager, Lady Luck Casino. “We have loosened our slots — which means we now have more winners than ever before — and we always strive to be the friendliest, most fun, casino in town.”
In July, Lady Luck Casino will be running the “Grills & Bills” promotion from July 5-31 and more than 200 winners will walk away with up to $500 cash instantly or a new grill. Guests can also enjoy a free summer barbecue with hamburgers and hot dogs from 2 to 5 p.m. every Saturday in the casino’s front parking lot.
In August, there will be cash, cash and more cash given away in the casino’s Lucky Loot Hot Seat and 2K Payday promotions.
Also in August, Lady Luck Casino will partner with Isle Casino Hotel on Aug. 28 to host a Major League Eating contest. World-class eaters such as No. 2-ranked Bob “Notorious BOB” Shoudt, No. 6-ranked Tim “Eater X” Janus and No. 18-ranked newcomer Adrian Morgan, will eat Rocky Mountain Oysters and compete for $5,000 cash. The contest starts at 2 p.m.
