The Winner’s Circle will be offering an assortment of exciting racing-themed events on Saturdays during the month of January featuring race cars and drivers and a collector car show.

On Jan. 15, Colorado’s own Chris Eggleston from Erie will be at The Gilpin’s Winner’s Circle. He’ll be bringing up one of his race cars for prominent display in the parking lot across the street from the casino. Eggleston is a Colorado National Speedway champion who turned 21 on March 27 – the same day he made his debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Stop by The Gilpin, admire Eggleston’s race car and trade some driving tips with a real NASCAR winner.

The following Saturday, Jan. 22, will feature racing cars and drivers from High Plains Raceway of Deer Trail located east of Byers on Highway 36 within 60 miles of Denver. High Plains is a racetrack primarily dedicated to Colorado Amateur Motorsport Associates club events on the weekends, but also offers open Lapping Days to motorcycles and streetcars. Come on by to reserve your lapping times and experience the exciting adventure of race driving on your own motorcycle or in your car on a real raceway. Surprise your racing aficionado with the unique gift of lapping time in making their new year delightful.

On Jan. 29, Club Auto Colorado members will be doing a driving tour from the Club’s collector car storage facilities in Lakewood up to The Gilpin. Club Auto is associated with the LeMay Museum, “America’s Car Museum,” with a collection of more than 2,300 vintage automobiles. The LeMay collection is currently located at the former Marymount Academy located in Tacoma, Wash., while a permanent museum facility scheduled for a fall 2011 opening is under construction. Club Auto members will park their gorgeous collector cars for viewing in The Gilpin’s lot. Drive on up for this special event and see why America continues her love affair with cars.

Ben White, Table Games Manager, is enthusiastic about the Winner’s Circle with its upcoming events and said, “It’s a good fit for Colorado.”

White especially thanked the sponsors of the Winner’s Circle events, including Club Auto, Colorado National Speedway, High Plains Raceway, MillerCoors, NAPA, Race Fever Racing Souvenir, The Track at Centennial and Waterworks Car Wash.
