Wine tasting to support Problem Gambling Coalition Efforts Oct. 27

A silent auction and wine pairing are on the menu when the Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado will host its 3rd annual wine pairing and silent auction on Friday, Oct. 27, 5 – 8 p.m. The event will take place at the Isle Casino Hotel Black Hawk event and meeting center located in the skywalk between Isle and Lady Luck casinos in Black Hawk.

The Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado has partnered with local wine distributors. The wines will be paired with a menu created by Isle Casino Hotel Executive Chef Klaus Krebs.

Admission to the PGCC Annual Wine Pairing and Silent Auction is $10. No RSVP is required, and participants can pay by cash or check at the door. Silent auction bidders need not be present to win items.

Cindy Payne, board president of the PGCC, said, “The monies raised from this event will be used to fund PGCC’s current projects.  These projects include: creating public awareness messages to let problem gamblers know where they can seek assistance and to educate the public of the legal gambling age in Colorado.  Additionally, monies raised will be used to award two scholarships for the 2014 “Reach Out” scholarship poster contest to heighten awareness of problem gambling.  The contest is open to all Colorado high school and college students.”

Corporate sponsorships are available for $150. As supporters of the PGCC, your donation will include a table for 10 and recognition of your organization throughout the evening.
